Canto Cigalo
(means chirping of the cigalos) is located in the
countryside surrounding Béziers, 10 mins from
the beach at Valras. The property is divided in two:
the main house with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living area,
conservatory, separate WC, bathroom which sleeps 6
people.
Opposite the house, there is a studio for 2 people,
consisting of a room with patio doors, view over the
swimming pool, kitchen, bathroom with WC. Both the
house and studio have air conditioning. Between the
vineyard house and the studio are located the swimming
pool and the garden, which are well lit to enjoy warm
summer evenings.

| The holiday
property is ideally located, surrounded by sites full
of history. It offers, at the same time, the opportunity
of enjoying sports vacations, with jogging in the country
side, roller-blades, walks, bicycle rides, and an 18
holes golf course at Béziers. Tourist holidays,
with cultural and oenological activities; historical
sites must be visited;
Between the sea and the hills and surrounded by a
vineyard with easy and direct access to the seaside
– only 10 minutes from Valras (photo of Valras
Plage shown above).
Just 2 mins away from the Canal du Midi. We can recommend
superb walks or bicycle rides in the shade of plane
trees along the towpath; stopping at very nice friendly
restaurants in the beautiful villages of Poilhes,
Colombiers and Capestang.

Also,
well worth a visit: Pézenas, the birth place
of Molière, with its craft shops and markets
(photo above shows the Saturday market at Pézenas);
Minerve, a quaint village with beautiful stone houses,
and a very important site of Cathar history is to
be visited on foot; Roquebrun is a village on the
mountain side: it has a nice Mediterranean garden
and you can take a swim in the river near by.
St Chinian and Faugères, with the famous
vineyards, where you can taste excellent fruity
wines in their cellars. Spain and the Pyrenées
are only a 90 min drive away on the motorway. Nearest
main airports: Montpellier, Carcassonne and Perpignan
(50 mins). Go to Cap d'Agde, and visit the harbour
at Sète

- A security deposit of 300
€ must be paid upon arrival
and will be returned at the end of your stay
after satisfactory inventory at the time of
departure, and after having returned the keys.
Deductions shall be made for the value of
broken or deteriorated objects.
